Van-êsênî Bî (/ˈlɘle/ /ɘˈsɘnɪ/ [classic] [shame; stigma; guilt]) is a subtropical Town located in the Lîsithapíe Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Van-êsênî Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Van-êsênî Bî was founded by Jaynie Zleg̈m, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Van-êsênî Bî has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Van-êsênî Bî receives an average of 259 cm/y (101 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Van-êsênî Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3064 m (10052 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Van-êsênî Bî was founded durring the late 9th century, by Jaynie Zleg̈m. The establishment of Van-êsênî Bî was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Jaynie Zleg̈m electing to pay people to resettle in Van-êsênî Bî.
Van-êsênî Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Van-êsênî Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Van-êsênî Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt cobblestone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. The town's exceptionaly well made fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.
Something in your gut tells you that you may be unwelcome in Van-êsênî Bî. The town seems like it’s not showing you the side of itself it would show to others. People mostly ignore your questions. Many folks ask you to leave their establishments, even before you’ve walked inside them. You should probably listen to them, as every time you’re asked to leave the person asking you to leave has referenced the town’s patron divine in some way. The little voice in the back of your mind that tells you when you’re in danger feels like it’s just glaring at you and muttering about how stupid you are for even remaining in town.

Van-êsênî Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Van-êsênî Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Van-êsênî Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Van-êsênî Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Van-êsênî Bî's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
